PBOT said installing school speed zone signage at RHS is “expensive” and “not a priority location.” Let’s let them know they’re wrong.

Your Story Matters

Do you or your student walk, bike, ride the bus, or drive to Riverdale High School? Have you experienced or witnessed a traffic safety concern near the school?

Stories from students, parents, neighbors, and community members can help shine a light on why we need a designated school speed zone on SW Terwilliger Blvd. Your voice can help make change happen.

Tell us about:

  • A close call or unsafe situation

  • Challenges crossing the street or exiting the parking lot

  • How fast moving traffic affects your student’s commute

  • Anything else you think decision-makers should know

With your help, we can advocate for a safer route to RHS.

Traffic in front of Riverdale High School is unsafe. Cars speed past the school and there’s no school speed zone signage. It’s dangerous for students, pedestrians, cyclists, and anyone trying to exit the parking lot.
